I'm surprised that Aunt Jemima kept selling all these years.

We never bought Aunt Jemima products in our home. My mom never bought them and I was born in 1956. My husband's sister would buy the pourable mix for her kids. We were raised on Bisquick and Log Cabin. (Aunt Jemima may be have been a better quality product than Bisquick for pancakes, but my mom would never buy it and I never did)

However, we were big consumers of Cream of Wheat, so there's that....... (However, there was no suitable substitute for Cream of Wheat..Malt-o-Meal was even a bigger PITA to make than CoW and didn't taste as creamy) Also being Armenian, shipments of Cream of Wheat saved many lives and is staple in many of our desert recipes.
