I really hate people who scream about poor folks looting but don't care about white collar crime

I will never understand why people get so upset about poor people looting but don't seem to care or ever say anything about white collar crime and corporate welfare, which costs the average taxpayer many thousands a year compared to someone who maybe barely can support their kids who takes some clothes or electronics from Walmart. Not saying that is right because it isn't but we know who Jesus hung out with and correct me if I am wrong but it seems like the only time Jesus got super angry was when he turned over the money tables. Proverbs 6:30 "People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving". I personally think someone who came from privilege and has never known want, who finds a way to rip off the banks and taxpayers for millions is a thousand times worse than someone trying to just get buy who takes something. CATO is a conservative think tank and goes into how much the wealthy are ripping us off. Snip: A 2012 Cato report found that the federal government spends about $100 billion annually on corporate welfare. Repealing the spending would save every household in the nation an average of about $800 a year. As for white collar crime: According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), white-collar crime is estimated to cost the United States more than $300 billion annually. Although typically the government charges individuals for white-collar crimes, the government has the power to sanction corporations as well for these offenses.

I am not being sarcastic or facetious either. Conservatives believe that the wealthy (usually the wealthy White people) are the inheritors of the nobility and monarchs of old. They are the "best" of all of us and thus they should just be allowed to do whatever they need to do to maintain and increase their wealth.

Like the kings or feudal lords of old, who owned all of the deer in the forest but could "tax" you for half your crops and kill you for poaching a deer to feed your family, the wealthy can accept subsidies from our taxes and prosecute you for taking a candy bar from the store.
