This may be the year Citizens United comes back to haunt the Republicans.

Republicans against Trump have already formed super pacs to defeat Trump. They have been very effective. Anyone with the resources can form and fund a super pac, just as long it does not coordinate with a campaign. Which of course is unenforcible, absurd, which is the reason why Citizens United is one of the dumbest, corrupt decisions in the history of the Supreme Court.

Someone like Bloomberg has the ability to form super pacs for elections across the country. He could fund a super pack for all the competitive Senate races. He could bury Republicans under a pile of money, political ads.

Republicans thought they won with Citizens United. They forgot it works both ways.
