2. Some young people only use Twitter/other social media and don't ever watch news on tv or internet.

I would prefer that our younger citizens stay informed by hearing directly from President Biden and future presidents, however they so choose.

No one should be getting their primary information from a note-passing format, period. It leaves them dangerously uninformed and susceptible to undue influence of malicious others.

And no, I am not some old man yelling at clouds or kids on my lawn...I was one of the first 1,000 or so Twitter users back in 2006 when it was first available...it was essentially an improved IM format at the time and its barely any better now. Sharing thoughts in compromised, controlled sizes is a form of censorship and people who willingly limit their attention span and communication abilities to such restrictions are fodder for control mechanisms.

If you only go to Twitter, and that is your sole source of news, you are doing it wrong and you have handed over control of your mind to others whose driving motive is to sell you something or use you to get something, and their desires are RARELY yours.

An informed citizenry is essential for democracy to work...look around today, over lay our government conditions with use of social media...its kind of like the fried egg commercial from the 80's....this is your brain, this is your brain on Twitter....any questions?

Many businesses nowadays use social media.
But their presence there is carefully controlled, and coordinated with other media.

As potus, I would make videos or statements to be disseminated across all media outlets, including all major social media outlets.

I would not be tweeting impulsive schoolyard taunts while driving up to the next golfing green....

It is outrageous that we have allowed this to be normalized.

8. I wouldn't want to see individual twitter accounts for the President or VP

A White House twitter account wouldn't bother me, one that has bulletins alerting people about upcoming press conferences and pointing to the White House web page for more information on issues of the day. The WH page could have announcements, a feedback/question page - didn't Obama have a request thing on the White House page where people could vote for what they wanted addressed? Pardon my feeble memory, oops.

There could also be a media section where videos are available in their entirety - press conferences, speeches, along with important documents, etc.

That kind of thing would make sense and would be a way to connect with people who use Twitter without having to limit information content to the Twitter format.
