he refused to testify unless subpoenaed, which would have led to court proceedings blocking his testimony until resolved in court. I believe the committees decided against the subpoenas knowing that they'd never see him there anyhow while awaiting any court rulings.

because more attention is given to what he is saying in a book, then each congress person given 5 minutes to question him

compel his testimony to play out. We abandoned the cause. I have to say, we'd still be waiting. I have zero faith the court would have made him appear.

for the court to rule on Bolton testimony, I fail to see how we'd be worse off heading into an election.Pres. candidates don't enjoy campaigning with an impeachment cloud overhanging.
I say re-impeach.
