Parkchester Times Jun 18, 2020
Six days to primary elections, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, representing NY District 14th, on Wednesday, has faced off her democratic primary contenders during a debate sponsored by Parkchester Times held at Golden Place at 1451 Unionport road in Bronx.
As a way of observing the social distancing rules, as demanded by Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez only 10 people six media personnel, the three candidates and the moderator for the debate Gary Axelbank were allowed inside the room where the debate which started past 7p.m, was taking place.
The debate saw Caruso-Cabrera and Ocasio-Cortez constantly squaring it out, with the former accusing the latter of not caring for the community in the 14th congressional district.

This is a long article with lots of details about the debate, I can't reduce it to a few paragraphs. Unfortunately no video is available of the hour+ debate.

OP
She got a lot of criticism in the summer of 2018 for barring the press from Town Halls.

Does Ms. Caruso-Cabrera not realize we are in a pandemic and rules must be observed?

Maybe she thinks this is over like Donald Trump, but it is certainly not.

...was over and above the rules in place last night.
way over and above. Sounded like media suppression. Didn't even want constituency in there. Social distancing protocols observed and many people could fit in the venue.
