1. Journo Daniel Hopsicker wrote a book about Barry Seal. CIA did this very thing.

They denied that the information was true, then blocked publication with the claim that publishing the info would harm ongoing CIA operations and damage National Security.

The book was eventually published with blank pages representing the CIA cuts from the manuscript.
