(7,575 posts)how can Kentucky voters be so DAMN stupid!

(13,462 posts)I live in Kentucky and I also dread all the thinly veiled what about-isms regarding the protests when my work from home ends in mid-July. I am just the administrative assistant and really do love my job and the guys I work for, I will need to be careful in my countering on any of the current madness. My very soft countering of something sent one guy to his office mid -conversation last year.
Ironically the most horrible boss I ever had in this organization was a confirmed liberal.

(6,039 posts)Which is odd considering he said the same thing about Grimes 6 years ago. It seems to be his magic bullet.
McTurtle is a skilled campaigner. The last two election cycles it is basically 'I know you may not like be but the other candidate is much worse.' Somehow he manages to make it work.
The one beef I have with McGrath is she doesn't go for the jugular. She has yet to mention the graveyard of legislation, Merrick Garland or packing the courts. She needs to go on the offense.

(2,266 posts)Civiqs us not a randomized poll.
They use opt ins from web sites. If they put those opt ins on Republican leaning sites favorable to Trump, then they will get those results.
actual randomized polls by reputable companies show McGrath in a dead heat.
This is like saying the poll from faux news that said trp us doing ....perfect, very good, great in response to Covid.
Do not let this discourage you. McTurtle us in danger and he and his super pac all already using these kind of Putinesque tactics.

(111,085 posts)McConnell hasn't won yet.
Many believe Booker a better candidate than McGrath because of outside interference for McGrath by liberal groups.
If Booker beats McGrath in the primary, I think he would present a real challenge for Mitch McConnell.

(94,517 posts)As far as my resources go, they'll be targeted at races when I can reach a thoughtful conclusion that they're competitive. That list doesn't include KY.
