What will the Oklahoma Supreme Court decide re the Tulsa rally?

Looking forward to the decision which is expected sometime this afternoon.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court is expected to rule Friday whether those who attend a campaign rally for President Trump on Saturday in Tulsa must adhere to CDC guidelines for face masks and social distancing.

A court referee heard arguments over the phone Thursday and will make a recommendation to the justices, who are scheduled to discuss the case Friday afternoon. The referee would not disclose his recommendation.

A Tulsa attorney filed a lawsuit this week to stop BOK Center management from hosting the rally "to protect against a substantial, imminent and deadly risk to the community."

The petition cites a rise in documented cases of COVID-19 in Tulsa County.

"Despite this alarming uptick ... ASM Global plans to host an event that will bring tens of thousands of people into an enclosed area in downtown Tulsa ... without putting precautions in place to prevent the spread of the virus," the petition states.

"All credible, qualified medical experts, including the CDC, agree that this type of mass-gathering indoor event creates the greatest possible risk of community-wide viral transmission."

Apparently most conservatives don't believe that this is a "real" Pandemic and rely on Gawd's power.

15. At least, that's what they say in public to calm the angry Trumpists

I suspect that privately they hold a much different view (I could be very wrong), but one thing conservatives are always on the lookout for is cost. Who's going to pay to sanitize the BOK Center? Who's going to pay to clean up all that camp-out gear, trash, and detritus you know the crowd is going to leave behind?

Because you know who isn't going to pay for it.

4. I wonder how they'll adapt, if the court rules to uphold the guidelines

I think there's going to be a raging nightmare, no matter what. People testing with temperatures being turned away is probably going to prove to be very problematic.

And, it looks like rain for today AND tomorrow. Not boding well for those already lining up.

I wonder if there's a lightning strike, if they will take it as a sign for above.

Tots and pears, for sure.

and they all must wear masks.

Then when it was on TV it would look mostly empty, like trump's head and soul.

But knowing y stupid state I'm sure they'll just say it's fine, pack 'em in like sardines! Blergh
