I Want To Sue Anyone Who Gets Within 6 Feet Of Me Not Wearing A Mask Indoors

I am tired of excuses. If everyone wore masks in public this virus would be over. I don't want to hear it.

Actually I want to do far more than sue people threatening my life, and the life of my family, but I can't say it here.

Let's start by suing them. Reckless endangerment.

So far I have kept my mouth shut, but I won't be able to for much longer.

There is a reason we are still in the first wave when other nations are almost back to normal because they have brains per capita far above the USA and they ALL WEAR MASKS IN PUBLIC.

You could always be a short lived David Spade sitcom, "Just Shoot Them er, Me".

I kid... I run away from anyone not wearing a mask... and glare at them.

but I feel personally threatened when people refuse to wear masks around me. I feel the same when I see a MAGA hat. No difference. I have called people out on it. They don't like it.

I recently found out that one of my sons yells at unmasked people and shuts the door before they can enter the elevator: "No mask, no elevator!"

On one hand I am proud of him, on the other I worry that someone will punch him in the nose. He works on the 12th floor so that is a lot of people he yells at every day. In Miami.

Because I'm a small guy with a big mouth, I've been punched in the nose more than 20 times plus the countless times my big brothers have hit me in the nose. There have been no lasting medical conditions and I breathe through my nose without difficulty nor is my speech affected.

He will be okay and you can continue to be proud as you should be.

Had it broke, went to the hospital and got 5 stitches, and the thing is still crooked.
It breathes OK though....
Once my daughter had her nose broken by a hard thrown softball (by her sister). She was trying
to score from third. I was the coach
of the team. I pulled it straight and called it good. She later had to go get it set by a doctor.

Allow the idiots to understand they are evaluated as stupid and treated accordingly.

I am in Miami. Yes, it's going to be a ton of people not wearing masks. The young right wing blockhead percentage in this area is extremely high.

I was at the counter and all of a sudden could feel her right behind me. No mask, of course. I told her to back up at least 6 feet and pointed out that she did not have a mask on. I refuse to allow these rude inconsiderate jerks to jeopardize my health. This is the third time Ive had to do this in the last few weeks.

Or not wearing masks but bandanas? Do they wear them at the bridge of their nose or down around their nostrils, or even mouths? Better check that out as well.

I am 71, highly at risk by my age, and wear a folded bandanas right by my nostrils because I cannot breathe. Although I still wear it inside requiring it, it comes off outside.

Isn't mask wearing supposed to be about protecting OTHERS, especially the most vulnerable at risk elderly? You sound like you only want to protect YOURSELF.

Wear a sign on your chest saying stay 6 feet away from me, mask or no mask. I would gladly stay 100 feet away from you and that attitude.

I’m at high risk too and I don’t appreciate being put at higher risk because it’s just too difficult for them to wear a mask or because they think its political. You got a problem with that?

If somebody isn't wearing a mask, that other person has assumed the risk to themselves. Maybe you don't trust that your mask will not protect you yourself against non-mask wearers? Similar to mask wearing people standing 6 feet away from each other.

People talk all the time about doctors and nurses wearing masks in hospitals, and during surgery. Do they put masks on their patients? Do they stand 6 feet away from their unmasked patients, including during surgery?

analogy is poor. It’s pandemic time. Your argument doesn’t work. We all need to take responsibility for each other. Every measure we use, i.e., donning masks, social distancing, being outside with others rather than inside, decreases risks FOR ALL. You want to make safety decisions for others. It doesn’t work that way.

Excuse me, can I please get near the tomatoes? That happened even before this virus, and NOW. Woman and her husband (?) wearing masks but not 6 feet apart from each other, standing there just considering do we need green peppers, or not? ALL of us wearing masks. Said the same thing to them now as I did before. They moved away. Got my peppers and was GONE and they were still deciding.

I make up a grocery list because I don't want to waste time in a store, especially now having to wear a face covering.

Maybe these Grocery Store Browsers need to watch Guy's Grocery Games. You have 30 minutes to........

The woman and the baby? Are you implying she needed to keep the baby home, even if she herself was wearing a mask? It is medically dangerous for an infant to wear a mask. If she was a Single Mom, how would she keep an infant at home when she needed to shop even if she wore a mask herself? Keep the baby outside in her car to protect it from others? A very young child is far more likely to die in a hot car, than catching corona virus in a supermarket.
