This is what keeps me awake at night

and fills my mind in they day. I hope we pull through this.

Experts on autocracy warn that, as one of their primary moves, autocrats typically politicize independent institutions like law enforcement on the road to consolidating power and dismantling democracies.

We are so far down that road that very few off ramps are left.
