Berman's refusal to leave quietly could make Trump go completely off the rails in Tulsa tonight

Trump's been expecting to take a pre-victory lap tonight, with Berman gone and Trump and his family and associate thugs like Giuliani safe from SDNY investigations.

Now Berman's completely overturned that.

Not just with his refusal to step down, but with his defiant statement concluding that "our investigations will move forward without delay or interruption."

https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/19/politics/southern-district-of-new-york-geoffrey-berman-jay-clayton/index.html

"I have not resigned, and have no intention of resigning, my position, to which I was appointed by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. I will step down when a presidentially appointed nominee is confirmed by the Senate," Berman said. "Until then, our investigations will move forward without delay or interruption."

Trump will read that as a threat.

The NY AG has all the info he has. Trump and Barr can rig the fed side but they can't NY state.

And once again... Innocent people don't act like this.

he drastically curtailed public appearances and let Speer and Himmler take over as the public face of Nazi-ism. Trump doesn't know any better. The whole Trump Thing is riding on him alone, and he's under intense pressure.

Now, Dr. Bandy Lee says Trump won't "break down". But I hope she's wrong.

From reports over the years, aides seem to fear his rages when he is totally out of control. If even some of his supporters start seeing the unbalanced man behind their image of him, they might turn away—just as many did when he was doing the virus press briefings and came across as a totally self-centered idiot. He lost some independents and maybe a few moderate Republicans then.

Coming out around Labor Day. But I don't expect a lot of play on this issue other than the general claim of an out of control court system. But Trump has no discipline so I will be looking to see how soon people begin to walk out of his rally. And whether, as they leave, they attempt to provoke the demonstrators and what the police response will be. This has the potential to spiral out of control.
