We're going to find out if Berman was actually fired (asked to step down)

...it's looking more and more like obstruction of something Berman was investigating.

Next 24 hrs. should be interesting to see if Barr is looking to make this 'Saturday _ Massacre' redux.

Something that has been under investigation, or people who have been under investigation, is nearing the end, and trump wants it to end, now. Barr will do whatever trump tells him to do, no questions asked.

"serve at the leisure of the president" is the term. No pushback had led to this environment. What happens when subpoenas are not enforced

...there was a SDNY ruling a while back that the the president can remove a U.S Attorney 'regardless of the nature of appointment,' U.S. vs. Solomon (sp), so...

Anyway, we just impeached him, so I'd say ' no pushback' is on Senate republicans. Enforcing subpoenas by Congress isn't governed by solid laws, creating room for stalling until after election time, that's the main reason they weren't effected by Democrats in Congress.
