(4,167 posts)I see OAN is going to start running a lot of these fake polls.

(61,588 posts)Cooper is fairly popular here and Forrest has been nowhere to be seen or heard. That will tighten up as outside money pours in and the propaganda is unleashed, but I doubt they're tied right now.

(578 posts)the polls I have seen have Cooper up by a big margin. This is the first poll where they are tied that I have seen. Granted it could be close but since the majority of polls have Cooper up by double digits that I have to throw this one out as an example extreme outlier.

(3,166 posts)Cooper is fairly popular and Run Forest Run is a dim witted dipshit who would take us back to the 1600s with his crazy religious baloney 🙄
Republican governors in the south want to take us back to the 1600s. I felt that way when Mccrory was Governor. That guy ruled NC like a crazy religious zealot. Cooper beating him in '16 was a breath of fresh air. It's why I'm determined to volunteer and help Cooper win again since I don't want to experience another nutcase GOP Governor.

(1,184 posts)North Carolina has been generally tight in the Biden-Trump race. Moreover, Gravis just came out with a poll showing Biden up by 16 points in Minnesota, and the polls there have generally had Biden up by about 5.
Minnesota and North Carolina obviously have different dynamics, so I'm not comparing per se. But it would be wise for us to work as if Biden is down by three points in North Carolina because... he could be.

(578 posts)has a high chance of winning North Carolina. Obama barely won NC way back in '08 and it was by only 24,000 votes. Anyways I would love to see Biden win my state but I'm more concerned right now about trying to get Cooper re-elected as Governor. Cooper has stopped a lot of batshit crazy republican policies from being passed down here and I would like to have him as check on these clowns for another 4 years.
I have lived in NC since '94. In general NC usually elects democratic governors but elects republican presidents.
