Replying to a Michael Moore post

Michael Moore just asked on FB: how many people would line up and sleep on the sidewalk for five days to attend a Biden rally?

Probably none. Know why? Because we're grown-ups.

Anyone willing to sleep outdoors for a Dufus rally clearly doesn't have a job or any grown-up responsibilities.

Plus: five days with no baths?! That arena is gonna REEK.

I assume MM is referring to trump supporters, and ironically the turnout in Tulsa was far less less than they were saying.

Moore's demoralizing messaging is wrong again, just like when he predicted we would be seeing "president Romney"

As for "enthusiasm", I think Moore should be concerned about the lack of enthusiasm more and more people are having for him

you can't win with just your own cult of roadies, didn't work for Bernie, rallies don't mean votes, especially when much of the crowd are just regulars that follow you around

The most line time I can claim is, I once stood in line for over 5 hours to see the Treasures of Tutankhamun at the British Museum. A real once in a lifetime opportunity. And exhausting. I can't imagine anything or anyone worth a 5 day line wait.

Their fanaticism and extreme loyalty really carried the day and led them to victory over the soft Americans who would never...oh wait. They got their country bombed the shit out of and turned into a pile of rubble and lost almost every battle after the first few months of the war.

Cult like delusion and devotion only go so far, and can also be liabilities in as much as they are strengths when your followers stop listening to reason and logic. What? Mon Furher wants us to invade Russia and take on England, the Soviet Union, and the United States all while maintaining occupation over much of Europe and North Africa at the same time? Sounds good! What can go wrong? Our devotion and loyalty will carry the day!

The answer is NONE, because Joe Biden wouldn't ask us to put ourselves, our families, and our community in jeopardy by congregating like that. He would hold a virtual rally and we would ALL be there!

They think politics is a form of entertainment driven by a cult of personality.

I don't know a single person who would sleep outside of a stadium to see Bide give a speech.

I do know plenty of people who will stand on line for hours to vote for him
