Something tells me Needy Amin isn't going to be happy about the empty seats and the lack of overflow. The staff was really counting on a major rally to boost Trump's spirits because of all the losing he's done lately. (Wouldn't it be nice to have a president who doesn't have to be coddled like a cranky toddler?) If the reporting makes it look like a fizzle, Trump will be grrrrr mad!

That's how these events work.

The tickets are free and they are basically RSVPs (like webinar RSVPs) as opposed to actual tickets. The event knows that someone in Alabama is not going to attend. They estimate crowd size by local RSVP's and even then, they are usually about 1/2. Popular events can sometimes get 100% attendance. I was worried about a Joe Biden event recently. (Small venue, but it turned out OK...I got to see him up close!)


The campaign then gets your contact info: Address, phone number, email.

You get:
Junk mail, spam, and phone calls ad nauseum.
