15. My first reaction is - Trump IS the white house.

Why are handlers pretending they are in control.

My second reaction is mdy very vivid recollection of a conversation I had at the checkout counter in our local grocery store about a week out from the election. My spouse and I tried to convince the cashier and the customer ahead of us - who were undecided at that point - to vote for Clinton. We gave them civics lessons about who runs the show. We talked about his personality, and his temperament, and the nucleear button.

They said they would just have to trust that the people around him would advise and control him becasue Clinton scared them. I was so hopeless that it created a visual memory (which I almost never have). (Then, of course i came to DU and got labeled a "concern troll" for daring to suggest we didn't have the election in the bag . . . but I digress)

And here we are - 3.5 years later. With his handlers trying to handle him, and him running the show as I told the customer ahead of us he would have every right to do.

I hope people have learned.

The moderator (I don't know his name, seems nice) has at least twice talked about how inappropriate it is to be "joking" about curtailing testing with 120,000 Americans dead from the pandemic. He sounds sorta/kinda/hella pissed.
