Here's my wild guess on that ticket count:

Parscale sent a campaign email to all the deplorables regarding the rally. In it, he leads them to click through to see a web page on the event. Fine print says: "by going to our site, we will automatically reserve a ticket for you to enter the rally but it will be on first come/first serve basic, so get there early!" That could be where the million ticket number came from.

Otherwise, either a.) someone hacked their site and used bots to order hundreds of thousands of tickets or b.) they're flat-out lying.
