***NOTE***: K-Pop story has a couple of big holes in it; No set ticket limit and the empty overflow

EDIT: I looks like there was no set ticket limit so whom ever was spoofing tickets could've spoofed 2 trillion of them if they wanted to the people who wanted to be there would've shown up en masse to fill the arena if the demand was there.

NO... Do ... LET the polling companies off the hook !!

Make polling companies explain how in the hell could Red Don not fill 20,000 seats in the reddest state in the union.

Also, if it was about a static amount of tickets the overflow would've at least had 1,000 people there it had NO ONE but the take down crew.

No, this was horrible for trump seeing Oklahoma is more reliable red than Alabama yes, there are tons of black republicans in OK.

Look Obama can get 20,000 people to show up in north eastern Mississippi with 2 days notice to watch him switch shoes.

When a person is popular they will pull crowds and diverse ones too.

This was Red Don's "Open UP" rally, it has LITTLE to do with K-pop emptying the stadium they couldn't logistically do it seeing there wasn't a set amount of ticketing and the overflow was empty.

Trump had a really bad night in a really red state

Your take?

and the number given out that way hypothetically could have been infinite because it was always a first-come-first-in arrangement. The people who wanted to be there were there and the online ticketing didn't make any difference. The actual demand was for a bit less than 6,200.

There was no limit on requests for tickets.

The only effect of the spoofing was to make them look like idiots bragging that a MILLION people wanted to come to the rally.

THEY COULDN'T GET 19k ACTUAL TRUMP SUPPORTERS TO SHOW UP

If he fires Pascale he's admitting it was a giant clusterfuck.
If he keeps Pascale they can blame the disaster on the spoofing, or invisible ninja protesters.

Fucking up so badly might, in a twisted way, be job security.

He was shouting at him a few weeks ago because he didn’t like their internal poll numbers and he was totally pissed off about the article that detailed how much money Parscale made from the campaign since 2016. It listed several multi-million dollar homes and Ferrari’s. Dump was pissed not just because Parscale was making so much money but also because of the publicity from the article. Dump has to have the spotlight. Ask Scaramucci.

I hope he doesn't fire Pascale. We might end up dealing with Rove.

Parscale claimed 800K ticket requests, and Trump later inflated that to 1M. Even accounting for Trumpian BS-ing in those numbers, the idea of a crowd of 100K+ could have caused a bunch of people to stay away.

Even assuming you're dead on, it's illogical to announce attendance expectations of 780,000 to 980,000 above capacity and think that won't dissuade some potential attendees.
The prank would have meant nothing if Parscale & PINO would kept their big mouths shut.
It wasn't kids on tiktok. It was their own fault!

I doubt turnout was a function of this troll but if it led to Trump foolishly hyping expectations it’s worth noting that TikTok has rumored ties to the Chinese government.

Reporting teens to submitting his campaign isn’t the help Trump wanted from them.

True they did not affect the actual turnout

They did fuel the constant pre-rally bragging which they believed to be true

That build up falling flat is the real failure
