I can't say I'd credit Trump with this kind of advance planning, but does he use this footage from last night as the before-and-after sort of ad with him basking in the triumphant cheering of a crowd: "He was down, and his enemies thought he was out. I don't think so, because Trump absolutely despises weakness and implying that he was anything but the Best all the time is anathema to him. As it is, I'm going to enjoy that solitary shuffle of glum defeat for an inordinately long time.
