(39,016 posts)They know nasty and know how to fight nasty. Sometimes, I'm afraid we're too decent for our own good. Seriously, republicans have been fighting dirty for decades and now they're getting a dose of their own medicine from former members of their own party. They know trump's Achilles Heel better than we do. They can have at it because, frankly, it's more effective coming from former republicans than we could ever be.

(12,203 posts)They might well be people with whom Democrats can work, but not agree on many central tenets.
Democrats would do well to remember the adage about "the enemy of my enemy is not necessarily my friend."

(7,888 posts)Lots of work before November is needed to counter attempts (both foreign and domestic) to reelect the monster in our White House.

(39,016 posts)bring down his enablers and cowards in the Senate, too. And it's not just because they support trump, either. Check out the anti-Tillis ad. Brutal. I'd like to see them get involved in House races, but all this costs money.

He proved last night that he can't look away from their ads, and this one is even more designed to poke him with a stick.
