I'm stuck at home, can't go grocery shopping. Can't have my kids over for dinner. Depressed as heck. Can't stand to listen to the news.

Ordinarily we would all go out to dinner, grand kids included. Trump screwed up my country royally.

Since I turned 62 in the middle of it, and started getting my SS, I would have to say yes, I am doing better, but only financially, definitely not psychologically. Grateful to be retired.

The unemployment bonus $600 per week plus the stimulus check plus the decline in entertainment and dining spending leaves tens of millions better off financially. But when the six hundred stops after July 31 there could be an economic disaster. Rent, mortgage, car payments will stop by the millions. Unless Trump realizes his re-election requires a second dose of economic salvation.

So are you better off than four years ago? For many people the answer right now is yes. Yet despite that Trump is drifting down in polls. After July 31 he may crater.

The kids have good jobs and own their own homes. The grand-kids are well taken care of, healthy and happy. My wife and I are financially stable and want for nothing.

It's mine.

The country being worse off than it was four years ago however, is almost solely Trump's fault.
