Will this ABC interview with John Bolton have any impact with Republican voters?
Bolton is a hardcore conservative and Republicans, in general, have held him in high esteem.
Until he was either fired or resigned? Different sides have different opinions. With the assistance of the Martha Raddatz production team, it turned into a fascinating partisan interview. He wasn't intending to speak to a liberal audience. He was speaking to Republicans. If it sparks a conversation between Republicans, then that may be a good thing? Much of the Republican Party has been in a partisan stupor for the last 4 or so years. They need to have a serious discussion amongst themselves. Will any of them be talking about the Bolton book or the ABC interview? When that happens, we will have made progress. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/jun/22/john-bolton-says-he-wont-vote-for-trump-and-hopes-he-is-a-one-term-president

2. I think everyone who would have abandoned Тяцмр has already done so.
They’ll go against anyone who takes the cult leader on.

4. We know it will affect republican votes
Well at least one.

12. I thought he said that in the interview tonight?
He said he might find a good conservative candidate as a write-in, was my interpretation.

11. No he did not. He said he's writing in a GOP candidate.
It's in the interview. He disdains Democrats down to the finest point in the interview.

7. It could foster a movement
within the GOP that could give some fence sitters a grain of confidence to turn against Herr Trump. His primitive mob style approach is wearing thin on many, and if they see Trump circling the drain and going to a sewage plant downstream of the crapper the effects could be instrumental in saving the reublic.

8. No! A DT fan I saw interviewed in the parking lot on Fri, when she was waiting for her spot
line was asked if she wasn't afraid of getting the virus by attending such a large crowd said "I don't care if I get it or not, I just wast to see him! I LOVE that man!!!" After I choked, I realized that NOTHING anyone says, NOTHING DT does, will change the the minds of his ardent supporters. For whatever reason, those people are with him no matter what!

10. They don't have to vote against him. They only don't have to vote for him.
That is as good as a vote for the other side, some might say.
His cult are with him. The former conservative Republicans, moderate Eisenhower Republicans, and their progeny, are not real keen with Donald Trump. |

13. A distinct possibility .
Bolton's book could foster a movement within the GOP that could give some fence sitters a grain of confidence to turn against Herr Trump. His primitive mob style approach is wearing thin on many, and if they see Trump circling the drain and going to a sewage plant downstream of the crapper the effects could be instrumental in saving the republic.

15. I doubt it
Those who follow things such as this have pretty much all chosen our camps at this point.
He's truly just out there to cash in before the gravy train derails. There's nothing much of merit new to anyone who is willing to read his droll book or is paying attention. |

16. we don't need em so doesn't really matter
the ones who are off the Trump train ain't getting back on, and the ones on the Trump train probably ain't getting off, certainly not because of Bolton.
Get our folks out, and we win. Every time this is true. We only lose when our side stays home. |

18. Nothing negative about Trump impacts Republican voters
They savor the guy. Don't allow low numbers at a rally to distract from the 5-year reality.
Trump in the exit poll will receive a higher split of the Republican vote than 2016. We need to hold the advantage among independent swing voters, the ones who decided 2018 and are favoring Biden right now. |

19. There are the "Never-Trumpers".
But, how many are there?
If the Republican Party can be divided, it would be defeating Trump at his own game. |

They just have excellent media connections, and people gushingly eager to give them carte blanche at the other end of those connections.

They are now Branded with a scarlet T on their chests and they love it. If they have not left the sinking ship by now, they are drowning on the Trump-Titanic.
