The odd thing about this upcoming election is that there's no real point in holding it since the public won't believe the outcome no matter which way it goes. It is not hyperbole to say we would be better served by a coin flip, so long as both sides agreed to it.

Of course they don't want a coin flip. They'd be happy if there was never another presidential election.
