(28,347 posts)He might not have mingled with the lowly campaign staff, but White House aides or advisers may have, and got infected. Then those people meet with other staff, or Donald, himself.
Somewhere along the line, the chain reaction may get to Donald.
Since it's a nothingburger hoax, he has nothing to worry about while hooked up to the respirator. Easy-peasy.
Oh, yea, Pence was there, too, wasn'the? Mother will take care of him, I suppose.
They were tested on leaving - exposing his staff, exposing the Secret Service folks and exposing his own fucking base and exploring citizens going about their own fucking business. He really is the quintessential deplorable - the Holey Moran Emperor of self love. Fuck everyone else.

(19,034 posts)There is almost no chance they were wearing masks the whole time. They exposed 6200 idiots to Covid-19, most of whom are overweight and have other health problems. you can expect many deaths to be traced to Trump's lame rally.

(135,816 posts)While those who come in close contact with the president and vice president are still having their temperature checked and being questioned about symptoms, the steps are no longer being taken for others who enter the White House campus, said spokesman Judd Deere. Tents that had been manned for the past month by staffers with thermometers were being taken down on Monday.
In conjunction with Washington, D.C., entering Phase Two today, the White House is scaling back complex-wide temperature checks, Deere said in a statement. In addition to social distancing, hand sanitizer, regular deep cleaning of all work spaces, and voluntary facial coverings, every staff member and guest in close proximity to the president and vice president is still being temperature checked, asked symptom histories, and tested for COVID-19.
The White House had already stopped requiring all staffers in the West Wing to wear masks, a measure put in place in May when the presidents personal valet and the vice president's spokesperson tested positive for COVID-19. Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said last week that masks were recommended by not required in the West Wing, despite its narrow corridors and desks packed closely together, making it difficult for staffers to remain 6 feet apart.

(937 posts)That was a long day. They never ate or drank anything? The mask never became uncomfortable so they pushed it down off their nose or off their face even briefly? Yeah, right.
