EFUCKINGNOUGH! Covid-19 is spreading and the Criminally Negligent Con is facilitating its spread. This is the real National Security issue. It is literally about life and death.musclecar6
(1,686 posts)Youre right but the only thing that will stop this bastard is the election on November 3. Certainly not a spineless Republican congress

(31,261 posts)He is 80 years old. His government retirement was secure a long time ago. He can likely land a talking head job anywhere.
My guess? He stays on to try to talk Trump down from the really crazy.

(15,084 posts)Scarfie ( ) and SG are both weak sauce. They won't stand up to the Idiot-in-Chief.
Fauci is beyond disgusted, but he still does have some kind of a job to do. I guess.
The stupid thing about this is that if Ass Face had acted right away, he would be in good shape for November. He could have his stupid packed rallies and people would be getting back to work. The economy would be improving etc.
But by being a pig headed fool, he made his own situation (and all of ours, God help us) so much worse.
Every day from now to November 3rd feels like a decade.

(7,849 posts)trumps drowns him out...now that the orange idiot is more of a has-been and his verbal diarrhea shtick isn't working I'm hoping Fauci demands center stage...

(24,412 posts)Maybe not quite as forceful as he *should* be perhaps, but he's been a lot better than the other two. Birx has definitely drunk the Trump Kool-Aid and seems intent on defending him and kowtowing to him and the SG seems to have been muzzled or placed in cold storage for the last month or so?

(7,849 posts)why is resigning always the answer?...Fauci is one of the world's leading infectious disease experts...I for one don't want to lose him

(51,093 posts)trump doesn't give a shit about COVID-19, he's moved on.
If Fauci could speak freely at least the populace would be given some guidance from someone who is widely respected. trump probably wouldn't even replace him.

(7,849 posts)my gut feeling is Fauci is going to start talking...Trump is weak, his repugnant base is more into staying safe and in place than listening to Trump's garbage...and with the pandemic raging and Trump admitting to slowing down testing Fauci can take the stage...this may be wishful thinking but I hope not

(51,093 posts)I want Fauci to talk every day. He's not being allowed to as long as he's in the trump admin.
If he quit he could talk all he wants and plenty of people would listen.
He will not be allowed to take the stage until he resigns, quits, or is fired.

If you're going to use derogatory nicknames, use them for all or none. Using one against the lone woman . . .
