The president might turn things around between now and November and win a second term, but one of the Republican strategists Vice interviewed fears that polls might become even worse for Republicans in the months ahead.

People are spending less on gas, eating out, etc. so money in the bank is way up. What will happen next? The $600 per week unemployment benefit which tens of millions get will end July 31. Evictions, foreclosures, car repossessions, credit card cancellations, bankruptcies will surge. Home sales will decline. Commercial construction will stagnate. That will hurt Trumps approval rating. On the other hand job reports will improve. GDP growth will be highly positive. We face a lot of uncertainty. It could be a disaster for Republicans, a total wipeout. Or it could get a bit better.
