Twitter alluded to that.
Thanks in advance, if you have seen that somewhere.

(3,888 posts)He said that with a senate full of republicans, who would not entertain the notion of impeachment, that it was a waste of time to pursue it.
I saw this on Jake Tapper's show last night.

(10,039 posts)and is pushing an approval on a bill to reduce Barr's personal office expenses by $50million. The dems are doing the investigations, in case you haven't heard they are having a hearing on Wed which some of the DOJ lawyers that quit from cases in protest of Barr's interference have agreed to testify. He has extended an invitation for Berman to attend, not sure if he will or not. The point is, he is correct, the republicans are not going to do anything but it does not mean the house cannot do the investigations and hold public hearings so the rest of us know all the things he is doing. If it gets so bad that it too will leave a big shit stain on republicans, they may actually try to get him to step down. But at this point they are not prepared to do anything.
I also think if they can get enough info they can then get him disbarred which could me the end of his job.

(65,227 posts)Tapper asked if Nadler agreed with calls to impeach Barr, and the New York Democrat responded tersely that to do so would be a waste of time.
"We have a corrupt Republican majority in the Senate, which will not consider impeachment no matter what the evidence and no matter what the facts," Nadler said.

They are keeping testing abilities from us, to kill us.
When I said they would do this if they could a few years ago, most folks ignored me.

(63,221 posts)executive level, we can't have them go before a non-partisan court to be tried in. It's such bullshit that these guys can get away with murder just because republicans have a majority in the Senate.
This system isn't working and needs to change. Maybe it did at one time, but it doesn't anymore. We have just become too polarized, vicious, power-hungry and corrupt. Or should I say, they have.
