He's been put off his game and because of his narcissism he's been made to defend his vanity and (what he thinks is) his macho image.
Because he thinks he has to defend himself (i.e., like walking down the ramp or drinking the water with two hands) he really doesn't have the ability to mount any type of campaign for 2020.
As a result - all he knows and all he can fall back on - are his stale talking points from the 2016 election - which are now worn and dated - as he hasn't come up with any decent talking points on the pandemic; unemployment; the potential for a Trump recession or depression or reform of the police in this climate of BLM protests. Bolton's book and the Lincoln Project are also contributing to an impending breakdown
Also coming off the embarrassment of the Tulsa rally and trying to figure out what happened and if he is losing his base - he's reeling - and because he's an idiot - I don't think he knows what to do going forward.
So my suggestion is 'to keep him on the run' and 'keep him on the defensive'. Keep him at that riled up state where he goes after his own people like the WH and his campaign staff. Don't let up on making him look weak.
Keep stepping on his narcissism to make him seethe as he sits there in the WH angrily tweeting. Drive him nuts (or more nuts than he is).
Let's see if we can keep this pressure on him till November.

(12,712 posts)Macho image. Heheheh. Well, that may be his self-perception.
It's hard to even imagine an orange chicken with a macho image, but he's free to play make believe all he wants.
He almost seems punch drunk at this point. They hyped up that Tulsa rally as a campaign reset and then he spent 15 minutes telling a story about how he walked down a ramp.
It certainly suggests that keeping up the attacks on things that trigger his narcissism will prevent him from being able to focus on anything of any importance to the average American.
