VIDEO: Woman Purposely Coughs In Face Of Baby At San Jose Yogurt Shop

San Jose Police were looking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who purposely coughed in the face of a toddler who was in a stroller while waiting in line at a yogurt shop.

The incident happened Friday afternoon at Yogurtland on the 5600 block of Cottle Road in South San Jose.

The unidentified woman believed to be in her 60s is seen on surveillance video waiting in front another woman and a one-year-old sitting in a stroller.

Police said a preliminary investigation determined the older woman was upset the woman and the stroller were not maintaining proper social distancing. After some sort of verbal interaction, the suspect is seen taking off her face mask, bending over close to the baby’s face, and coughing several times.

I know how irritating it is when people won't follow guidelines, but the baby wasn't at fault. That's just wrong.

2. I saw the video and it didn't even seem like the woman with the baby were NOT following distancing

It looks like they were some distance apart and the woman has to walk over towards the baby to cough in it's face.

4. I refer to two facts only: 335,000,000 people in the U.S.A.

Lots of different sizes, shapes, backgrounds, religions, ages, temperaments, etc. ,etc., and so on.

2. The U.S.A. does NOT have a national mental health program, and the ability to get help varies from state to state..(If a person wants help that is. )

Given facts one and two, it is NOT likely that individuals who attack others, will have help with their mental health problems, before the attack, whatever kind of attack that is.

We are NOT A POOR COUNTRY...!!!! WHY IS THIS TRUE?...the person who coughed on the baby needs help. Perhaps she will get it in the slammer, but I wouldn't bet on it.

She would have left in an ambulance.
