Trump's recent comments negate all claims that he was joking about fewer tests equal fewer cases.

Trump's most recent comment about wanting to reduce testing, made just before boarding Marine One, made it clear that as weird as his reasoning is, he is serious about it.

we could imagine the president making a gaffe and instructing his staff to say it was a joke and sticking to the story. He really means the stupid things he says.
