Don't you wish we could all live in a fairy tale world like Trump and "pretend like" so things that we don't like could magically disappear? The rest of us have to live in the real world, unfortunately.

One guy figured it out hours before it hit. Hardly anybody knew, and the hurricane didn't seem to care!
But, the storm came anyway. And, it will make front page news, like it did then.
Just like the virus, right? It's here whether we test or not.
No tests. People still get sick. Some will die. We'll know.
Reducing testing doesn't do a thing.
That's why it's such a stupid idea from a stupid man.

Already impacting Florida and Cuba, expected to hit Texas later in the week

However the dust is expected to give us a pass from bad hurricanes this year, so maybe we don't need the weather services.

but..there are still tornados, and haboobs in Arizona.

all this time i've been focused on making test programs to isolate and identify defects in CPUs using some very expensive equipment
turns out i was just introducing the problems the whole time, costing the company money and making their numbers look bad
if we just hadn't tested at all, our defect rates would drop to 0 overnight
of course, the customers might see it differently when their computers don't boot, but we can just tell them about fake news and move on.
here i thought we were weeding out manufacturing defects, but it was just a PR problem all along!

We sold them the thing and what happens after the customer starts using the thing is on them.

normally i'd be worried if any of our parts were going into things like self-driving vehicles or airplanes or heavy equipment or medical imaging
but since lack of testing is the new healthy, it will all be fine.
