How many People Died because trump asked his people to Slow Down Testing?

We'll probably never know.

Asked whether he was kidding when he claimed at his Tulsa rally that he'd instructed officials to slow down COVID-19 testing, Trump says, "I don't kid."

Many in his admin claimed he was kidding. Via ABC

I really doubt that a lack of testing is affecting the actual death rate. PoindexterOglethorpe Jun 2020 #3

no more tests.

I guess their logic, no testing, no infection numbers. They don't care that testing let's medical experts know where the next hot spots will be. Maybe knowing where these hot spots are can save lives and cure the infection rates. They seem not to gasp that COVID-19 don't discriminate or maybe they don't care.

Individual states need to secure tests. Each state has medical labs. Also, PPEs are needed as well as other medical supplies. States are on their own.

It might be affecting the number attributed to Covid-19, but not really the deaths.

Also, the more people who are tested, the easier it is to see that as bad as this is, the death rate is hardly horrific.

If we only test those who actually go into hospital, the death rate seems terribly high. In reality, a significant number of people are symptomless or recover pretty quickly. No, I am not ignoring the ones who are sick for a long time. Someone I know personally has been sick for about two months now. But the reality is, the number currently infected and the number dead is a tiny fraction of all the people on the planet.
