Want To Vote In November? Get In Line Now

The only way Trump can win is by MASSIVE VOTER SUPPRESSION. MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There will be one voting machine for ever 20 rural people, and one for every 10,000 urban / minority voters.

They know they can do it. They have been doing it for years.

Gee, I wish there was some party who could stop what we all know is coming in November. Some party who wants to win.

Look at Kemp, and what he did to screw tens of thousands out of their votes. He was richly rewarded, and didn't pay any price for screwing so many out of their votes. It's more then gerrymandering, and electoral college.

Republicans always get away with it.

Look at Bush. He lost Florida. So what right? Crosscheck. Purges. No big. They always get away with stealing elections. If Trump tries to steal this one the protests will make the BLM protests look like a kiddie playground.

Just sayyin.

Get in line now folks.

states where anyone can vote by mail, find out when you can order your ballot and followup to make sure you get it; vote early if you can't vote by mail; etc.

We can blow the MFers out in November.

5. I'll be voting by mail, but ...

... if I have to vote in person, I WILL DO IT. I will stand in line however long it takes. I will walk barefoot across hot coals and broken glass. I will walk through a thick cloud of coronavirus-infested droplets. I will do whatever is necessary to cast my vote against that disgusting orange thing that's in the White House.

Yes, Republicons cheat. That's the only way they can win. The Democratic presidential candidate officially won the popular vote in six of the last seven elections, and that's in spite of the Republicons' cheating, and I actually have doubts about 2004, too. There was something that stinks to high heaven about what happened in Ohio that year. If we take the White House and Senate in November and hold on to the House, I have some ideas about things we need to do to prevent this cheating, but we'll talk about that then...

9. I will vote in person in our runoff but only because I am an Election Judge

and I can vote there. Otherwise I would request a VBM ballot. I have the application, because the Texas Democratic Party sends them to every identifiable Democrat who is over 65 or has voted by mail before. (that covers disability) Since we do not register by party here, all we can do is look at the voting history in primaries.

7. only 27% requested absentee ballots in KY

for today’s primary. Everyone could have requested one. Can we really blame KY for voter suppression if everyone could get an absentee ballot? I understand there are only very few polling places open - but it’s the reality of the pandemic also. Why do you need polling places if you can and should vote by mail? We need to strive for automatic vote by mail everywhere.

8. You are so right!! Polling places were reduced due to massive shortage of pollworkers due to COVID

Reason #2 Needing locations which allowed for adequate social distancing due to COVID.
All things considered, I think KY did a bang up job. (and I was livid all day Monday after reading there would only be one polling location in Jefferson COunty) By noon Tuesday I was really proud of my home state.

Which would you rather have? 300 polling locations short staffed with iffy social distancing that folks have habitually used for years suddenly reduced to 100 voting places which you have to hunt down?

OR one large (260,000 square feet) well staffed building which allowed hundreds of people to vote at the same time with excellent social distancing in a location well known to every person in Kentucky. This location included: free parking; free Lyft; free public transportation and early voting in person June 15 - 22. Everyone had the option to request an absentee ballot; the deadline to be counted was postmarked June 23 instead of received June 23. There were drop boxes at the voting center and the Elections office as well.

Every state could take a lesson from KY. The Democratic Governor and the Republican Secretary of State worked together on this plan to maximize available resources.

Georgia and WIsconsin need to have a talk with those two.
There is always backup at the end of the day. The only mistake was made by the Election Judge who did not go out to the end of the line with a clock/watch/cellphone and stop the line at straight up 6:00. All of the folks already in line would vote. The folks not in line would not. It has ever been thus

Lexington did not have enough check in equipment but additional units were found. They used the Univ KY football stadium; another location known to everyone.
