He is not going to wield a blow like that to capitalism as a full-fledged, card carrying member. It would be antithetical. World hunger is built into the model, in a sense. Low wages, exploitation and cracking a whip are endemic to the model.

That, to me, is why you don't see the billionaires come together and pool some of their googles of money to uplift the world at large. They could do it easily and still have more than enough.

Just food, diarrhea prevention, clean water, a little medicine and some help with infrastructure improvements would go a long away to helping uplift millions.

The real rub is that, it is both practical and doable right now. It is a matter of neglect for ulterior motives. That's awful, but who is going to hold them accountable and putt their nose in it when they are the great heroes who build unimaginable fortunes on the backs of others and claim it as their own?
