Biden tweets on his plan for healthcare

?s=21

It's clear Donald Trump will stop at nothing to tear down Obamacare and rip health care away from millions. We cannot let him get away with it. We have to build on the ACA with a new public option to ensure everyone receives the care they deserve. http://JoeBiden.com/healthcare

Plan to Protect and Build on Obamacare | Joe Biden
Joe Biden will protect and build on Obamacare by giving Americans more choice, reducing health care costs, and making the system less complex to navigate.

This is music to my ears. If we can afford **billions** for the militarized police, we can afford basic healthcare for our citizens. GO JOE!!!

I would add that the public option be required on every group plan offered by any company in the US.

And of course the obvious public option is traditional Medicare, tweaked a bit to include things needed which are not currently covered, and reduce out of pocket costs, wrap the prescription plan into the main policy and make it fair. Include well child care and maternity benefits for all who need it When I was a claims analyst for a Part B carrier, childbirth was covered; the mother was on SSI or the spouse of someone on SSI. It takes a few years to reach that status but it does happen and the childbirth is covered. I processed a few of those.
