According to pool reports and delighted tweets from supporters who watched the virtual event live on Tuesday night the fundraiser ended with heartfelt expressions of mutual endearment.
After saying it was time for everybody to get to work, Obama said Love you Joe.
Love you too, pal, Biden replied.
...
The event raised more than $11 million, including $7.6 million from 175,000 grassroots donors a total that almost doubled the campaigns previous best for a single event. Bidens campaign outraised Trump in May by $5 million, and eclipsed the total raised by Trumps Tulsa rally as well.

No racism.
No idiotic nonsense.
Sane adults discussing policy.
I'm glad I donated.
If they held one of these virtual fundraisers each week I would pay to see them talk. It was inspirational.

(16,979 posts)who thought his loyalty to Obama would attract and retain AA voters, but I was attacked for that by...nevermind. I was told that Anita Hill...nevermind. But it turns out I was right, as many of us were.
Love these two and their connection. Ill say it again, Biden is the current face of the Obama administration, and people are yearning for competence, intelligence, stability. Obama would be Prez forever, but he gets to have his wingman take over.
Love this. Thanks for posting.

Love them both!

(19,568 posts)Biden has this! There is nothing Trump can do to make him not the kindly, steady decent man he is this round. People, just don't hate him and we tend to trust him as stable and decent. Which we miss and desperately need now.
