BREAKING: PGA has 2:00 News Conference Regarding Covid Breakout

apparently Brooks Koepka's caddie and several other possible Covid infections on tour after 2 weeks

If the PGA Tour can not operate under Covid conditions then I suggest no other major sport can operate

If you can't make it work in golf, there's no way other sports can go forward.

Tested positive and stuck in Serbia. Also, some boxer tested positive and can't fight this week.

The Phillies, Blue Jays, and Rockies each had some positive tests, as did the Cowboys and Texans. And I think at least one NHL camp had to shut down last week.

If they could truly enforce the whole "bubble" concept I think it could work, but there's just no way that hundreds of professional athletes are going to abide by the type of quarantine rules that would allow games to be played.

It’s not as if players or their caddies are on top of each other.

But the Germans have done well running the Bundesliga. I remember when America used to be well-run and Americans took things seriously.

That said, I agree with your conclusion.

They cannot operate "outside" of society. The US is failing in addressing this pandemic and the TOUR and the NBA as well as all the other sports can't change that.

draconian in comparison to what the U.S. did, so they were able to get a much better handle on the spread of the virus.

2) The idea that the PGA Tour players could somehow exist in a "bubble" is pure fantasy, as they are constantly having to travel to and from tournaments, use hotels and restaurants, interact with many people, even if the interactions are perfunctory and casual.
