Jon Stewart was summoned to Obama's White House at least once
According to an interview this a.m. on Howard Stern's Sirius radio program (my transcription)
Stewart: "I was called down to the White House a couple of times..."
"It was during the Obama years...they were concerned that we have a constituency, and that I was making them cynical...that my criticism of certain procedures within the Democratic party...you know everything's funny till it's your guy...you have to be able to criticize your guy...the general tenor of why I was called down was 'I see you.'"
