Trump suggests new stimulus package will include 'very generous' checks for most Americans

Donald Trump has committed to supporting a “very generous” coronavirus relief package in a new interview, while appearing to suggest the forthcoming legislation will include another check to be sent to the majority of Americans.

Asked whether the reported Republican-led Senate bill will direct payments, similar to the $1,200 checks included in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the president said: “Yeah, we are.”

He was then pressed for more details by Scripps’ Washington correspondent, Joe St George, who asked: “When? When are you going to get it?”

Mr Trump responded: “We had this going better than anybody’s ever seen before. We had the best job numbers, the best economics, the best economy we’ve ever had, and then we had the virus come in from China. Now we’re rebuilding it again. We will be doing another stimulus package. It’ll be very good, it’ll be very generous.”

The checks took a long time because they have buildings and machines which can only mail about a million checks per day. To mail more would require new buildings and new machines. But late in the process they were able to send out debit cards. I think they could send way more of those every day. And many people, me included, gave the IRS our bank numbers. I never have a refund so they never knew my bank info but now they know it. So I think it could be faster this time.

convince the electorate that all will be getting tax cuts or other forms of largesse and then when actually applied it miraculously falls almost in toto to the richest Americans.
The "trickle down" scam lives on.
Deficits are only a concern when Dems are in power.

So its fresh in people’s minds as they vote. Bolton said everything he does from day 1 is to get re-elected. It’s all political. Saw Bolton on the view today, the women really went after him for not testifying and doing book deal instead.

The actions Predator Grump takes are generally destructive to a wide range of things which I won't list here, but they should be obvious.

One thing is clear, his words are often empty. They grab at the moment, get attention and manipulate the media and minds.

SHUT UP, Predator Grump! STFU. Do what you are going to do and then talk about it you confidence man mobster dictator traitor. We have no more capacity for empty, self-centered rhetoric. People are really tired of the BIG MOUTH!

What's that old saying? Oh, put up or SHUT UP.

My Republican friends.... all they say is, "we can't afford this!" ... all the time forgetting that it is Donald Trump who is proposing more payments to buy votes. I guess "socialism" is bad, until Trump needs it to get re-elected, and then they just pretend their guy isn't the one who needs "socialism" to win.

Funny stuff.

Mrs. Lauder, the owner of the department store where everyone worked, approached Mimi about a task. Mrs. Lauder had heard that Mimi's relative was a trucker and would pay him $641 to transport the store Christmas tree. Mimi said sure, but why such a specific figure? Mrs. Lauder replied, "We did a study, and found that that's what you people consider a lot of money." Mimi thought about it for a second, shrugged, and went off to call her relative.

That was many years ago. I wonder what Trump considers "very generous"? I guess we'll see.

His administration is not rebuilding anything. They continue to dismantle the federal government along with the American dream and hand it all to the plutocrats.
