(4,756 posts)No enforcement. So the assholes walk around without. TN is worse and they are going to get walloped in the next few weeks...

(31,979 posts)I am seeing people wearing masks covering their mouths but not their nose. Wtf? I was in a Dollar General over the weekend to buy two things, and the cashier was wearing her mask like that. Then she started coughing to boot. I put my things back and left!

(34,105 posts)Home depot, PetSmart and Natural Grocers. I rarely go out because of my lungs but most people had masks on. It was good to see. My last trip, a short one to the grocery was not so good. NE Kansas.

(10,525 posts)in some places, it's complaint driven to the local health department, but if no one cares there's probably no complaints

(53,342 posts)Masks protect others FROM the wearer. If the wearer is violating policy/law, is that not assault?

(4,440 posts)The store I go to opens at 6 am on Tuesdays, for people 60 and older. When I arrived at 6 am every customer and employee had a mask on, but at 7 am, when the store was open to everyone, only about 1/2 of the shoppers wore a mask.
I keep wondering how many deaths will have to happen before people decide wearing a mask is crucial to survival for all of us.
