Breaking : In a reversal Nadler now open to impeachment of Barr

A shift from House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler: After saying Sunday impeaching AG Bill Barr is a “waste of time,” he says his committee “may very well” pursue Barr’s impeachment.

“We’re looking into that, we may very well,”

Asked what changed, Nadler says: “I think the weight of the evidence and of what’s happens leads to that conclusion.”

I suspect Dems have been voicing their opinions vociferously.......

But Trump's Senate firewall may have some tiny cracks in it.

Lindsay Graham told Barr to pound sand when they tried to cram in their own toadie to SDNY last week.

Mitch has his 200 judges installed and they might not see impeaching Barr as such a bad thing.

I don't ever think it's a bad thing to bring their crimes out in the open.

I would much rather see the time in Congress devoted to police reforms, extending needed assistance for folks affected economically by the pandemic and such. Barr needs to be removed, but thus isn’t going anywhere.

should be impeached. Not a one of them believe, or follow, The Constitution of The United States of America.

Not a one of them has been faithful to their oath of office.

We must get rid of, and prosecute, all of them - or suffer the end of this experiment.

Not hyperbole, just the way things are.

Barr certainly deserves impeachment, but given that the election is four and a half months away, is it worth impeaching and sending a trial to a Senate that will hold a sham trial and do nothing? The Senate will not go against Trump to remove Barr from his position.

Public hearings into Barr’s behavior are good. Follow the Republican playbook of endless hearings and claims of criminality without ever reaching a decision to impeach—just as Republicans did to Hillary on Benghazi.

We’re not after Trump supporters, but we do need some of those independents.

This is one tool Democrats can use. Just realize Mitch will acquit quickly, so the key would be to time hearings and votes so as not to hand off to the Senate before election day.

As much as I like Nadler and have gone to see him speak in the last year, he needs to learn how to go for the jugular. Our opposition is not playing fair.

The impeachment is in November at this point. At best maybe Barr will be stripped of his ability to practice law at some point.

To see if there is support for an impeachment?

The first question to Mr Barr:

"What do you mean when you say 'unitary executive'...?
