2nd highest according to them... SO FAR.

I suspect that we'll keep breaking records in the coming days and weeks anyway.

They all seem to have slightly different numbers, but they're all pretty much equally catastrophic in the end.

My guess is the WP compiled stats and didn't adjust prior day's totals when the actual dates were corrected. There have been two major corrections so far that corrected totals all the way back to February.

As a nation, we should be on a downward curve as a whole. This is all on Trump. What a royal fuck-up!

We can't afford to keep him around until November. This is unacceptable.

Someone apparently didn't adjust their earlier stats after late-reported cases were assigned to the correct days.

So this is the 2nd highest. (May 1 - 36,090, and June 23 - 36,015 being the next twho highest)

Friday has pretty much always been the day with the most new cases, and I don't see that much of anyone is doing anything that will impact that by this Friday.

that have fucked this up entirely, and for the malfeasance at the top that gave political cover to state governments to chicken out and do nothing.

But while the human cost is unforgivable, the financial cost is what we do as a nation, working together for a better world for everyone.
