We now have the Mary W. Jackson NASA headquarters in DC. I had been thinking just before I

saw this story that it would be wonderful if we dedicated more of our monuments, statues, memorials, etc., to human achievements in something other than killing each other. Where are such memorials to our thinkers, our scientists, our peacemakers, those who elevate and celebrate the best of humanity?

Exactly how many such memorials to women of achievement are there? Is there even one for the WASP's (if we are glorifying war? I know there are several honouring women in NYC, and, of course, Rochester, but where else?

If you know of more, I would love to see such a list.
