He said in an interview that trump turned a 'blind eye' to the Coronavirus. Fact. So did you, ya worthless piece of shit. You stood by silently and let it happen. You were silent as more than 100K died. You refused to testify before congress about the clear and present danger that this posed on the American people. You did it to line your pockets with silver....FOR A FUCKING BOOK!
Everyone in the dump administration. Every GOP in Senate and Congress have hands dripping in blood. You watched as mothers and fathers, grandparents died alone in nursing homes. You saw the heartbreaking videos from a patients bedside as they said goodbye as a nurse or doctor held up the phone so they could have one last touch to the one they love. These doctors and nurses with love and kindness gave them a voice. These doctors and nurses without adequate PPE to protect themselves due to trumps inept response have a heart and soul.
Hearts to the first responders.

(783 posts)I don't believe he was part of the administration when it hit, and I highly doubt any of the morons in the WH would have listened to him.
His refusal to testify...now THAT'S a whole different story.

(5,382 posts)Everybody knows Bolton and Trump are equally batty and destructive.
Besides, the book grew wings and is freely available on the net.
I've read the first 20 pages. The disorganised ramblings of an old man, jumping all over the place. Painful to read.
No one would want to pay money for the paper version. It won't sell.

(25,962 posts)The abrupt departure of Rear Adm. Timothy Ziemer from the National Security Council means no senior administration official is now focused solely on global health security. Ziemers departure, along with the breakup of his team, comes at a time when many experts say the country is already underprepared for the increasing risks of a pandemic or bioterrorism attack. [snip]
The personnel changes, which Morrison and others characterize as a downgrading of global health security, are part of Boltons previously announced plans to streamline the NSC. Two members of Ziemer's team have been merged into a unit in charge of weapons of mass destruction, and another official's position is now part of a unit responsible for international organizations. White House homeland security adviser Tom Bossert, who had called for a comprehensive biodefense strategy against pandemics and biological attacks, is out completely. He left the day after Bolton took over last month. [snip]
It seems to actively unlearn the lessons we learned through very hard experience over the last 15 years, said Konyndyk, now a senior policy fellow at the Center for Global Development. These moves make us materially less safe. Its inexplicable.

(25,962 posts)Bolton has shown his traitorous tendencies more than once by: 1/ directly undercutting national defense when he disposed of the pandemic response team and 2/ again undercutting national defense when he refused to testify in the impeachment hearings. As far as I'm concerned, those are just two instances that we know about.
He is far too full of himself. His comeuppance, should it ever finally arrive, is richly deserved.

(2,012 posts)and have always been so embarrassed that he was appointed to represent our country, especially to the United Nations. One time a friend and I went to New York and visited the UN. It was some kind of important meeting and Bolton and his entourage came marching in the front door. There were quite a few of us tourists waiting to take the tour and every one of us turned our backs on him. He came to the Conference on World Affairs at Univ. of Colorado and was roundly booed. I'm sure he didn't mind; he has no conscience or concern that we all hate him. How have we found all these people like Trump and crowned them.
