We have set several records in terms of new cases several days this month. Same with hospitalizations. So now we will be in phase 2 until at least 21 July and masks are required in public as of Friday at 5 pm. On 1 July, one week from today, we find out what plan the state is going to require schools to open under, A which is full reopening with social distancing, B which is 50% capacity (A day B day or A week B week) with remote instruction on the days students aren't in school, C full remote instruction. I am now assuming it will be plan B meaning every district has to choose between B and C. We were full remote instruction from 16 March until the end of the year. Teachers worked from home until late May.
Phase 2 for us is no bars, no gyms, no movie theaters, no indoor concerts, restaurants at 50% capacity at most. Oh, and now if I travel to NY, NJ, or CT I get quarantined for 14 days. I am wondering if Ohio will do that, if so, no summer visit for me. Meanwhile, the President tells us COVID is over, life is back to normal. I can't wait until 20 Jan.

I'd like to see mandatory mask-wearing here too, but DeWine will probably have to wait until several more people get infected and die.

My husband and I had signed up with a boxing coach who owns a gym. Before our training could start along came Covid-19. I am 72 and my husband is 77. We were hoping to have our first fight, yes each other, before next year. Since he is not doing anything right now and we have the heavy bag maybe we could buy a speed bag and he could come to our house and train us.
