Why don't people point out the bodies when Trump talks about having more cases because of testing?

He can say we test more all he wants, but he can't argue with the body count. >124K dead. That's more than double the next country (Brazil). 9th most fatalities per 1 Million population.

Next time he brings up that testing is bad, someone should point out that the body count doesn't lie.

it's a higher number than that. But, anyway the news needs to focus on ICUs and morgues mucifer Jun 2020 #1
I've said that. Start showing body bags on the evening news. onecaliberal Jun 2020 #2

Sure, most sentient beings will understand that testing simply shows more of the people who have it, but doesn't increase that number. The problem is to answer his outrageous statement with a simple and clear one.

It's not as easy as it soounds.

they think the patients didn’t really have Covid. There’s nothing that can change their “minds,” we just need to vote.

She said they are lying and claiming everyone who dies in a hospital is Covid19 so the hospital can get more money.

The argument may turn out to be true (there is a lag between infection and death of course)... but pointing to the daily death rate Makes the opposite argument from what you want.

The OP used the cumulative total.
So, the lag is inconsequential. People either died of COVID or they didn't.

It’s “how do you handle people who claim that things aren’t getting worse”

The answer can’t be “by pointing to a number that is getting better”
