"No one is compelled to work for, speak for, defend, explain, rationalize, or excuse this president and his incompetence, derangement, and racism. Whether to do any of that, or not, is a choice. And its a moral choice, a crucial one, both for individuals and the nation."

(40,208 posts)Somehow I get the feeling this is a personal message direct at Mrs. Conway, who George has said is in a cult.

By his own reasoning.
Her defense today of the racist covid nickname shows how utterly bereft of morality she is.

(51,584 posts)morally bankrupt since he chooses to stay married to one of the biggest enablers of the last 4 years. This is like the pot calling the kettle black. Look in the mirror George, look in the damn mirror!

After she thought her mic was off and her interview was over she actually said, "Ick, now I have to take a hot shower" after praising and defending her favorite Racist Rapist. They are all lying POS who do it for the $$$ and power and 5 minutes of fame. George included...they are all are morally corrupt.

(5,383 posts)Never in the history of US politics has there been such a large group of people dedicated to explaining what Trump actually meant.
One of the skills of being a politician, is to be able to speak clearly and to the point.
Trump's word salad generator, his brain, shouldn't need translating, he should be able to do that himself.
But those who choose to do so, to turn the word salad into normal speak, are even more guilty of attempted destruction of the US than Trump is.

(15,411 posts)I'm listening to the Lincoln Project podcasts. There is one that is mostly an interview of him. Of all of the "never Trump" republicans (or former republicans) he's not my favorite. I really like Max Boot and Steve Schmidt and Nicole Wallace. I've never heard any of the three of them needlessly trash Dems, at least not since 2016. George Conway is like the rest, vague incomprehensible bitching about Hillary or Dems in general etc. Even after they admit the GOP is a mess.
I think George Conway insists that he not be asked about Kellyann or his marriage when giving an interview.
