1. Why do we have any laws

When all Republicans ignore them allowing a criminal corrupt illegitimate president to remain in office . trump didn't corrupt republicans, he took advantage of them being corrupt, and lawless. . The 25th should be used , but they are too scared of trump and Republicans are too weak to do it. If there ever was a time for its use , its now.

3. The 25th amendment is oriented toward physical incapacitation

If the president has a stroke, an accident, or is in a coma, or something else that is physically incapacitated, the amendment can be used effectively.

If the president is mentally unfit but capable of speaking and arguing he is fine, invoking the 25th becomes difficult. It will be challenged and it is hard to imagine the resulting vote passing with a 2/3 majority in the House and Senate, when we couldn't even get a proper impeachment vote in the Senate earlier this year.
