TN Vols Athletic Director Fulmer: If you want sports, football, wear your mask and socially distance

"I would encourage people to pay attention to what we’re dealing with, and if you really, really want sports, football and all those things, then wear your mask and keep social distancing,” Fulmer said during a Wednesday interview on Nashville radio station 104.5-FM.

“I shouldn’t say just football. If you want school and everything that we look at as normal to go back close to normal, we’ve got to fight the fight and be disciplined about this. I think some people have assumed that the worst is over, or, ‘Hey, I’m not going to get it,’ and it’s not (over). "


Knox County has detected 734 COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday, up from 716 cases Tuesday. Active cases are at 136. The number of deaths remains at five in the county.
